🇭🇷 Osijek - 2025
Masterclass – Body, Object Theatre and Shared Imagination
This masterclass offered a sensitive exploration of the relationship between the puppeteer's body, the stage object, and the spectator's imagination. Through a series of practical exercises, students were invited to question their own stage presence, listen to the material, and activate a space of shared invention.
The work was structured around a few fundamental principles: the object is not an accessory but a partner; the performer's body becomes the primary vector of narration; the audience's gaze is not passive but a co-creator of meaning. By combining improvisations, transformation games, and compositions, the masterclass highlighted the porosity between body and object, and opened a lively dialogue between stage and audience.
Attention was paid to the quality of bodily engagement, to the construction of strong but available presences, and to the way in which a gesture, a breath, or a movement can awaken worlds. This work also allowed for the strengthening of listening within the group and the exploration of the relationship of trust between performers, objects, and spectators.
